I’m the founder and style editor behind Fashion Fangirl, and I’m a plus size woman over 40 who got completely fed up with being told what I was “too old” or “too big” to wear.
Here’s the thing nobody warns you about: you hit your forties, your body shifts, and suddenly the outfit advice out there is either frumpy, trying way too hard to look twenty-two, or impossible to actually recreate with real clothes. I was standing in a closet full of stuff with genuinely nothing I wanted to put on. Sound familiar?
